Fund Raising in UK

ProFauna’s members in UK, Melanie Wright and Melissa ran Lawn Bowls event to fund raise for the organization to save wildlife in Indonesia. In August 2008, Melanie invited her friends to play lawn bowls. Meanwhile, Melissa was selling brownies, £ 0,5 per piece. Next to the chocolate cake-slices, there was an information telling the buyers if they pay more money for the cakes the donation will go to ProFauna Indonesia and a cancer foundation.

Melanie and Melissa’s friends were very generous that they bought the brownies with more money. A friend of Melanie paid £ 20 for a piece of cake.

From the event, Melanie and Melissa have collected £ 160 for ProFauna. Previously, Melanie donated 36 millions (about 3,600 USD) for confiscated wild animals in ProFauna’s wild animals rescue center. She also became volunteer in Javan langur release program in 2007.
