ProFauna’s supporters (volunteers) from Malang, East Java named Adi, Hanggar, Asti, Kohar, Canakya Galerita, Didin, Didit, and many more supported the reforestation held by P-WEC, ProFauna, and the locals of Kucur village who live surround the hills, on 10 January 2010. In the reforestation, the team planted 2,000 seedlings. ProFauna’s supporters had the chance to plant the seedlings in an area called Bon Keke, which was 2 km from P-WEC centre.

Besides ProFauna’s supporters, ProFauna staff members including the Chairman ‘played dirt’ to plant the seedlings which were mostly jackfruits. Even though slippery and ‘dirty’, all the participants were very excited.

Finished planting the seedlings, ProFauna Supporters then held a monthly meeting which was chaired by ProFauna’s co-founder, Rosek Nursahid. The meeting was intended to share ProFauna’s latest activities to its supporters (volunteers). The most interesting news was that ProFauna formed new divisions for supporters to actively engage to the organization to save wildlife in Indonesia. The divisions are campaign, education, and investigation.
