Volunteering for "A day in the Jungle"
"A Day in the Jungle" is ProFauna's educational program inviting high school students to go into the forest while introducing the biodiversity and promote nature conservation. On the last program on 3rd February 2011, ProFauna involved its local volunteers, called ProFauna Supporter, to join the event. Starting from the participant reregistration to assisting educators in the educational activities, ProFauna Supporters consisting of four people were actively facilitated the event.
The four volunteers were Didin, an employee in a governmental organization; Sutriyat, a biology teacher in a local high school; Asti and Arief, university students. Even though they are from different backgrounds, they shared a common interest to volunteer that is to help ProFauna save wildlife and forest in Indonesia. Thanks Didin, Sutriyat, Asti and Arief!
